Despite my best intentions, I left you on a massive cliffhanger last month- so this one is up to you.
We'll watch Space Babies, the first episode of the new Season 1 with Ncuti Gatwa as the 15th Doctor. Written by Russell T Davies, the first TARDIS adventure for Ruby Sunday with the 15th Doctor is "Space Babies," which will pit them against the terrifying Boogeyman. The story will see the time-traveling team finding a large group of the titular space babies, but the episode isn’t all about space babies. As showrunnner Russel T. said in a recent interview, ..."There are often three things going on in any Doctor Who. It’s a bit like plate-spinning, keeping it all in motion. This has got space babies and a monster, so it’s a science-fiction story with mystery and suspense. But it’s also the personal story of Ruby finding out who she is and where she’s from – which will be the spine of this series. We’ve seen she has a very happy family with a wonderful adoptive mother but feels that urge to find out the truth about her past. That’s a great story for any drama. I don’t often give a companion so strong a story… but it’s all heading somewhere, just you wait.”
This one is a given, but the other episode is up to you.
We can either watch Survivors of the Flux and resolve the cliffhanger you were left on, with the Doctor turned into a Weeping Angel or watch the second episode of the new season, The Devil's Chord.
In Survivors of the Flux, for Yaz, Dan, and Jericho, life in the early 20th century is holding more adventure and danger than they could have ever imagined. For Bel, her mission to find her husband has taken a drastic wrong turn. For Vinder, the wrath of the Ravagers awaits. For the Grand Serpent, UNIT is his for the taking. And for the Doctor, nothing may ever be the same again...
In the Devil's Chord, The Doctor and Ruby will take a stroll down Abbey Road in 1960s England as they encounter the iconic Beatles and go toe-to-toe with the Time Lord's "most powerful enemy yet," who will be played by Jinkx Monsoon.
We will be watching the full season, and our subsequent dates are June 1 (6-8 PM) and June 22 (6-9PM).
